Ed Davidson (YoYoSpin) lives and works in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A former US Marine/Force Recon, Ed retired in 1996 from 25 years of engineering and program management with Texas Instruments and SAIC, with the aim of pursuing his life-long ambition of becoming a professional wood artist.

Ed has been working with wood for over 30 years, the last eight of which have been more or less full time. Turning wood is now his passion. Ed's work has been published in several national magazines, including the cover of American Woodturner, and is well known throughout the Rockies.
