When you see this insignia etched on a piece of glass in an art gallery, you will know that Gerald (Jerry) Patterson has been working at his passion for crafting fine collectible glass. Jerry's hand-blown glass designs attract attention wherever they are displayed.

After studying at Iowa State University, Jerry began to pursue his true passion in the high country of Colorado. He completed his apprenticeship under professional glassblower Garth Mudge at Glassworks Studio & Gallery in Estes Park.

Breathtaking mountain vistas, lush alpine meadows, clear rushing rivers and winter winds howling over snowy pine forests offer Jerry abundant inspiration for his elegant creations. Innovative, often-experimental techniques give his work a refreshing originality.

Jerry is a full-time artist at Glassworks Studio & Gallery, where visitors are invited to watch as he transforms red-hot molten glass with grace into unique bowls, vases and ornaments.

When he isn't blowing glass, Jerry may be found hiking and mountain biking with his dog, Tundra, or dancing to some good ol' high country bluegrass.
