GatherHouse features one-of-a-kind art glassworks hand-blown by John Hudnut. John has been blowing glass since 1989 when he first transformed the “gather” – the gob of molten glass daubed on the end of a glassblower’s hollow steel rod-into a solid, finished piece, alive with color and curve.

A native of the San Francisco Bay area, John has studied and worked in Philadelphia; Corning, New York; Florence, Italy; and Paris. His background in product design and environmental graphics, in addition to fine art, give him a keen eye for color and design. John now resides in Breckenridge with his wife and young daughter.
