June Stewart
Dichroic Glass Jewelry
Art and design has always
been a passion of June’s. While still in high
school, she won a prestigious Gold Key Award and her design entry was
displayed in New York City. She went on to an architecture and design
program in Miami, FL. Along the way, “life happened” so she switched
gears by going into the computer field. After retiring from 30 years in
the IT industry, life has taken her full circle and back to designing
creations.
She has always loved the way light plays with glass. The development of
dichroic glass by NASA (meaning two colors – It can split a beam of
light into two beams with different wavelengths), opened up a whole new
world of possibilities in the fused glass area.
Enjoy the compliments you will get as light dances on your jewelry
piece!
