Merry’s work has evolved from thirty years in her studio and a lot of trial and error. When trying to capture the spirit and camaraderie of woman with a secret formula of great coffee and great conversation, Merry decided that she had to make a great mug to go with it. Her primary interests are to be outside and explore on her mountain bike, by foot, or skis. She feels that fresh air and exercise stimulate her brain cells, but she also has to eat and have a roof over her head. Merry has always felt that getting her hands dirty and making stuff was a lot more appealing than a real job. "I probably couldn’t hold one for too long anyway."
