Tracy Miller

Horse Clock

Tracy Miller is a multi-media artist from Colorado Springs where she lives at the base of Pikes Peak with her husband Roger and their two children, Sean and Nicole. Ancient Rock Drawings have fascinated Tracy since she was a child. Upon graduating from Metro State College in Denver in 1987, Tracy began exploring this interesting subject matter on various media. Allowing her creativity to drive her artwork, she has moved from hand painted silks to painting original acrylics and now, for the past six years, polymer clay. With her pieces, she tries to further explore the vibrant colors and textures of the southwest.

She is influenced by ancient cultures and the colors of the earth and sky.

She is a founding member and former president of the Pikes Peak Polymer Clay Guild, and has had the privilege to teach polymer clay at Pikes Peak Community College. Her favorite techniques are the faux amber, raku, jade and bone to which the polymer clay lends itself easily.

"Please enjoy my art, it’s my hope to bring beauty into your life!"
