The perfectly balanced wings rest on the body and rock gently in the wind. The unique interlocking system keeps the wings secured to the body. Even in high winds they will not come apart. Each windbird comes with a 5/16" steel rod. Attached to the body is a sleeve that fits onto the steel rod. Just secure the rod into the ground and place the bird on its perch. Each bird in the series is very precise in detail and made of 18-gauge steel. The rust patina gives the sculpture a natural no-maintenance finish.
